Water disruptions scheduled during Reading Week

Several buildings on campus will be affected during Reading Week as work continues on the potable water main replacement project.

A full schedule of water shutdowns on campus include:

Walker Complex, Academic South

Water shutdown: Tuesday, Oct. 10, 7 a.m.

Water restored: Wednesday, Oct. 11, 10 p.m.

Affects: Washrooms, shower facilities, custodial sinks, drinking fountains and the Hungry Badger

Welch Hall, Scotiabank Hall, Alphie’s Trough

Water shutdown: Wednesday, Oct. 11, 7 a.m.

Water restored: Wednesday, Oct. 11, 10 p.m.

Affects: Washrooms, custodial sinks, drinking fountains, the General Brock Store, Alphie’s Trough kitchen and washrooms.

Thistle Complex, Tim Hortons west

Water shutdown: Thursday, Oct. 12, 7 a.m.

Water restored: Thursday, Oct. 12, 6 p.m.

Affects: Washrooms, custodial sinks, drinking fountains and Tim Hortons west

Schmon Tower, Market Hall and Tim Hortons east

Water shutdown: Thursday, Oct. 12, 7 a.m.

Water restored: Thursday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m.

Affects: Washrooms, custodial sinks, drinking fountains, locker rooms, Tim Hortons (in east Thistle Complex), Guernsey Market and kitchen

Central Utilities Building

Water shutdown: Thursday, Oct. 12, 7 a.m.

Water restored: Thursday, Oct. 12, noon

Affects: Washrooms, custodial sinks, drinking fountains and process (make-up) water

Vallee Residence, Earp Residence and Central Utilities Building

Water shutdown: Saturday, Oct. 14, 4 a.m.

Water restored: Saturday, Oct. 14, 7 a.m.

Affects: Washrooms, bathrooms, custodial sinks, drinking fountains and process (make-up) water

Mackenzie Chown Complex, Inniskillin Hall

Water shutdown: Saturday, Oct. 14, 4 a.m.

Water restored: Saturday, Oct. 14, 8 p.m.

Affects: Washrooms, custodial sinks, lab sinks, drinking fountains, eyewash stations and emergency deluge showers
