Speaker series to highlight international prof’s leadership research

Anna Baczynska, Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at Kozminski University in Poland, will visit Brock University’s Goodman School of Business next week to present her research on leadership.

Held as part of Goodman’s Luncheon Speaker Series, her presentation will discuss her paper, Leadership Competencies Among Managers, that was published in the Journal of Management and Business Administration journal earlier this year.

Baczynska’s research focuses on the relationship between leadership competencies and the psychological predisposition of leaders.

Now in its 12th year, Goodman’s Luncheon Speaker Series provides an informal and engaging opportunity to listen and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with colleagues internationally.

The event is being held in Sankey Chambers on Friday, Nov. 3 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Space is limited.

Goodman faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend. Brock community members wishing to attend can e-mail Jennifer Brisson at jbrisson@brocku.ca by Friday, Oct. 27 to reserve a seat.
