Brock ITS will be performing upgrades and maintenance at various locations across campus from Oct. 8 to 13.
A full schedule of work to be completed includes:
Sunday, Oct. 8
Location: Mackenzie Chown H-Block, Inniskillin Hall
Time: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption in network connectivity of up to 45 minutes is expected in the noted locations.
Monday, Oct. 9
Location: Brock main and Hamilton campus
Time: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption in network connectivity of up to 10 minutes in each building is expected. Shorter outages may also be experienced throughout the day.
Tuesday, Oct. 10
Location: East Academic, Glenridge and all residences
Time: 7 to 7:30 a.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption in network connectivity, including CCTV and Cable TV in residences, of up to 15 minutes is expected in the noted locations.
Wednesday, Oct. 11
Location: Mackenzie Chown F-Block, Goodman School of Business virtual lab and Psychology virtual lab
Time: 6 to 8 a.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, access to network services will be intermittent with extended outages to the portal, Goodman School of Business and Psychology virtual labs.
Location: Rodman Hall, Brock Research and Innovation Centre, Kenmore Centre (radios) and Schmon Tower
Time: 7 to 7:30 a.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption in network connectivity, including security radios, of up to 15 minutes is expected in the noted locations.
Location: All Brock campus locations
Time: 7 p.m. to midnight
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption of telephone services is expected at all Brock locations from 9 p.m. to midnight. Elevators will be stopped at 7 p.m. and be unavailable for the maintenance window.
Thursday, Oct. 12
Location: Mackenzie Chown F-Block, Goodman School of Business virtual lab and Psychology virtual lab
Time: 6 to 8 a.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, access to network services will be intermittent with extended outages to the portal, Goodman School of Business labs and Psychology virtual labs.
Location: Mackenzie Chown D-Block and Earp Level 300
Time: 7 to 7:30 a.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption in network connectivity of up to 15 minutes is expected in the noted locations.
Friday, Oct. 13
Location: Mackenzie Chown A-Block and Thistle Complex
Time: 7 to 7:30 a.m.
Outage Details: During the maintenance window, a complete disruption in network connectivity of up to 15 minutes is expected in the noted locations. Cable TV service across campus will also be down during the outage.
