Lifespan event promotes healthy sleep for children

An upcoming Brock event intends to put your child’s bad sleep habits to bed.

Families are invited to campus on Saturday, Sept. 30 for Sleep 101: From Zzzzs to A’s, Promoting Healthy Sleep for Children Aged 3-7.

During the event, hosted by Brock’s Centre for Lifespan Development Research, certified pediatric sleep consultant Krista Guenther will discuss key elements of providing a healthy foundation of sleep for preschoolers and school-aged children. Guenther will discuss the tools needed to help ensure families are well rested.

The family friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to noon in Sean O’Sullivan Theatre. Child care will be available for registered families and free parking will be provided in Lot D.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required online as space is limited.
