Pedestrian access to be restricted on portion of St. David’s Road

Due to ongoing construction, pedestrian access will soon be restricted on a busy section of road near Brock University’s main campus.

Beginning next week, pedestrian access will be closed to accommodate the construction zone at the interchange of St. David’s Road and Highways 406 and 58. The closure will remain in place until the third week of November.

Anyone planning to travel on foot through the interchange is instead advised to use Decew Road.

Earlier this month crews began a three-year overhaul of the busy interchange and, as a result, several lane reductions and closures have been introduced in the area.

Project updates on traffic flows will be published in the Brock News throughout the construction period.
