Participants sought for Experiential Education showcase

A showcase on experiential education will be held next month and the organizers are looking for Brock faculty, instructors, staff and community partners to help make it a success.

The event from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 27 at Brock is part of the Spring Perspectives in Teaching and Learning: Spotlight on Experiential Education and will highlight the spectrum of innovative experiential projects, course assignments and learning activities taking place at the University.

The Brock community is invited to share their experiences, products or processes in the event. Proposals to include a poster, digital poster, or experiential snapshot in this event are now being accepted by the Experiential Education Advisory Committee.

Those interested are asked to send an email by Friday, March 31 to eeac@brocku.ca with a title and abstract of what you would like to feature (100 words or less), along with any technical requirements for showcasing your work. Participants will have approximately 45 minutes to informally discuss and share work with colleagues as they circulate through the various presentations. Please also identify what category of experiential education your work most closely aligns to according to Brock’s definitions of EE.
