Goodman launches new alumni engagement campaign

Brock’s Goodman School of Business is launching a new campaign to engage alumni members and help support the student experience.

Called the Goodman Latte Club, the program encourages alumni to invest in the business school with the cost of one latte per month, or $5, in order to back new on-campus student initiatives.

On the heels of Goodman students earning the 2017 JDC Central School of the Year title, the first goal is to support a brand new trophy case that will be housed in the new Goodman building.

All graduating Goodman students are invited to a pop-up café event that will officially mark the campaign launch on March 22. Students interested in attending must register through CareerZone.

Barry Wright, Interim Dean of Goodman, will be joined by his colleagues to serve up coffee and biscotti to Goodman’s class of 2017.

“This unique event will give us a tremendous opportunity to acknowledge our students’ achievements in finishing up their degrees and will help us keep in touch with them as they become alumni later this year,” he said.

“Our students are known for their passion, perseverance and professionalism and this campaign helps us further support that experience for future students at our school.”

Developed by the Goodman School of Business and Development and Donor Relations, the initiative will host its first Loyalty Members’ Café at Homecoming in September to update members on the impact of their contributions.
