Research study needs participants on job hunt

Students who are on the hunt for a part-time or full-time job, internship or co-op placement are needed for an upcoming research study.

The study is being conducted by Associate Professor Adam Kanar in the Department of Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Ethics (OBHREE) at the Goodman School of Business.

Participants will be asked to complete survey questions about their job search habits and background.

The total time commitment of all components of the study is about 90 minutes over the course of several weeks.

It will include two 30-minute online surveys — one at the beginning of the semester and one 10 weeks later.

Each week during the semester participants may also be asked to complete a two-minute survey about their job search progress.

Study participants will be entered into a draw to win a Campus Store gift card.

There is one $250 gift card, two $100 gift cards and three $50 gift cards available to be won.

Participants will receive one entry into the draw for completing the initial survey and another for completing the survey at the end of the study.

Anyone interested in participating can visit the following link and sign in using their Brock credentials for more information.

Deadline to apply is Feb. 10.
