Student films to be featured at BrockTV festival

The work of student filmmakers will be in the spotlight next week during BrockTV’s seventh annual RenderThis Student Film Festival.

Films created by Brock University and Niagara College students will be screened at Brock’s Sean O’Sullivan Theatre on Friday, Feb. 3.

The event begins with a meet and greet with filmmakers at 6 p.m., followed by screenings of the films, which range in length from two to 10 minutes, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Last year, a record 18 films were screened within two hours.

This year’s showcase will also include live music and an art show featuring the work of Visual Arts students.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Brock University Students’ Union office or at the door.
