PODCAST: Grant Dobson Case Competition winners announced on Good Morning Goodman

The final Good Morning Goodman podcast for the semester has co-hosts Susan LeBlanc and Amanda Malkiewich talking about some recent student competition wins and wishing students luck as they prepare to enter final exam season.

BBA students Ashley Howard and Mitchell Cowan took first place in the Grant Dobson Case Competition, hosted Nov. 22 by the Department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film.

A team of Goodman accounting students made up of Brett Orlando, Dilpreet Dhaliwal and Aakash Roupra placed third at the Brock University Accounting Conference held Nov. 18-22.

Both the Goodman Business Students’ Association and the Goodman Accounting Students’ Association are hiring for their executive teams and the job postings are on CareerZone. Students looking to gain competition experience can also apply to be a delegate in Fast Pace to the Case and Goodman Consulting Competition.

The duo also encourage anyone from the Brock community to send in suggestions for the Goodman time capsule that will be built into the atrium currently under construction as part of the $22-million expansion project of the Goodman School of Business. The time capsule is to be opened in 2064 on the University’s 100th anniversary.

Suggestions can be made in person in the main hallway of Taro Hall’s third floor Monday, Dec. 5 from 2 – 4 p.m. or Thursday, Dec. 8 from 5 – 6:50 p.m. or through Goodman’s social media channels.

Produced by the Goodman Marketing, Communications and Alumni Relations team, this is the latest in the Good Morning Goodman series which updates the Goodman School of Business community weekly on important news and events.
