Brock alumni Barkwill nominated for top rugby player in Canada award

Alumnus Raymond Barkwill (BSc ‘10) has been named as one of Rugby Canada’s 2016 Men’s Fifteens Player of the Year nominees.

Barkwill started his career in Niagara during high school and continued to play on the Brock University Badgers men’s team as captain.

He is now teaching at the Sooke School District in B.C. and plays for the Sacramento Express of PRO Rugby and the Canada national rugby union team.

The public can vote for Barkwill as the 2016 Men’s Fifteens Player of the Year using Rugby Canada’s online form.
