Watch out for phishing scams this Christmas shopping season

It’s this time of the year when many head online to order a special gift for a special someone. But there are grinches waiting to catch you off guard.

Phishing emails pretending to come from places like UPS or Canada Post that telli you to “click here to track your package”  are often malware affected links from hackers. Phishers can only find you if you respond, which means you’re the most effective way to detect and stop phishing.

Brock University ITS department wants you to stay safe online and think before you click.
