New emergency warden training module coming to Sakai

Brock University’s Health, Safety & Wellness (HSW) recently collaborated with Emergency Management & Life Safety to develop an Emergency Warden Training module. This new module on Sakai provides faculty, staff and others with easily accessible training that outlines their role as an Emergency Warden.

Emergency Wardens are voluntary faculty, staff members and others who assist with directing occupants to the nearest safe exits during emergencies, such as fire alarms when evacuation is required.

All confirmed Emergency Wardens will receive notification from HSW to complete the training module. If you are interested in becoming an Emergency Warden, or if you have questions, please contact besafe@brocku.ca.

If you would like to learn more please visit Emergency & Life Safety or check out the Emergency Warden Training Bulletin.
