Big Brock crowd takes part in Wellness Day

From creating sock puppets to paddleboard yoga, Brock’s annual Wellness Day event was another big success Thursday.

There were 84 workshops offered over the course of the day and many of them quickly filled up when registration opened.

Neil Lumsden, Director of Athletics and Recreation, delivered the opening remarks speech highlighting the importance of balance in the lives of Brock employees.

“Balance helps you elevate yourself on a daily basis — and helps others,” he said.

At the closing event, the grand prize of a new bicycle was won by Maintenance Stores employee Darrell Cerminara.

Winning ticket numbers from the penny sale will be announced next week.
