New Health, Safety and Wellness Champion Award

The Health, Safety & Wellness Department will introduce a new Health, Safety & Wellness Champion Award at Wellness Day on June 16.

This new award will annually recognize Brock University faculty and staff either as individuals, or as a department, for championing a culture of health, safety and wellness at Brock.

To ensure Brock continues to be a preferred place to work and study, intentional focus and value is placed on health, safety and wellness. This new award confirms the importance Brock places on health, safety and wellness and reiterates that small actions can collectively have a profound and positive impact.

The Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) members will play an integral role, as they will review nominations for demonstrated evidence and specific examples of leadership in health, safety and wellness, to determine deserving winners.

Wellness Day 2017 will be the inaugural year for the award.

To learn more and nominate deserving faculty members, staff members, or departments, please visit the Health, Safety & Wellness website to access the nomination form.

Nomination forms are due by May 1, 2017.
