Egor Ospadov, a PhD student in Physics, will present his thesis defence on Friday April 8, at 1:00 p.m. in Cairns 207.

The title of his thesis is “Theory and Application of a Pure-sampling Quantum Monte Carlo Algorithm.”

Examining committee members are: Brian Ross, chair; Pierre-Nicholas Roy, University of Waterloo, external examiner; Stuart Rothstein, supervisor; Jan Vrbik, internal examiner; Edward Sternin and Shyamal Bose committee members.
