Alphie’s Trough, the on-campus restaurant located on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, has started its summer hiatus.

The restaurant behind Walker Complex closed Friday for the summer and will resume normal operations in the first week of September when fall classes get under way.

Although it’s not open for regular business, Alphie’s is available for private event booking throughout the summer. Anyone interested should contact Feastivities Events and Catering, which runs the restaurant, at 905-397-9950.
