T minus three days until the start of the new term for students.

To help ease them back into the reality of early morning seminars and late night study sessions, the Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) is hosting Frost Week – six days of activities to beat the winter term blahs.

Frost Week happens Jan. 13 to 18, giving students a week to adjust to returning to school before the events begin. Still, the BUSU marketing street team will be handing out plenty of swag during the first week of classes to brighten students’ early days back on campus.

Highlights of Frost Week include a performance by Tokyo Police Club and Hollerado on Monday, Jan. 13, with the big ticket concert set for Saturday night. Details about that show are still in the works.

“Frost Week is important as we want to give students a gateway to relive their (September) O-Week and have an enjoyable time at the beginning of the second semester,” said Jimmy Norman, BUSU’s special events co-ordinator.

Information about Frost Week events can be found online.
