Badger tickets offered as Halloween treats

So you’ve already eaten most of the Halloween candy you bought to hand out to trick or treaters next week.

No worries. Curtis Gadula, manager of Off Campus Living and Neighbourhood Relations, has a low-cal and guilt-free option with which to replace your depleted stash of mini-chocolate bars: free tickets to Badger sporting events.

Each ticket entitles a child and guest to one free entry into any regular season Ontario University Athletics home game here at Brock.

Handing out tickets instead of Chiclets is as much a way to spread Badger pride among Niagara’s youth – and future students – as it is the Halloween spirit, Gadula said.

“There’s so much untapped potential there and we really believe it’s something to be proud of – our athletes as role models, our programs and the University,” he said.

Tickets are available in bundles of 30 from the welcome desk in the Schmon Tower lobby. There’s no limit to how many stubs faculty and staff can take to hand out.

Tickets are good for the 2013-14 academic year, excluding playoff matches.
