Chef Michael Smith

Canada’s most famous chef is coming back to Brock.

TV celebrity Michael Smith will be at the University this Thursday Feb. 28 to cook up a storm for members of the Brock and Niagara communities.

Smith will be in the Guernsey Market at 12 noon for about an hour serving up our in-house smoked meat to students, staff, faculty and guests and chatting with them.

Then at 1 p.m., he will be autographing copies of his cookbooks, which will also be for sale.

Smith is visiting as part of his role as ambassador for Sodexo, the food services provider contracted by Brock to run food services at the University.

His alliance with the company focuses on areas like sustainable culinary practices, employee training and supporting the company’s hunger charity.
