Brock University and the union representing 16 stage support staff reached a tentative agreement Thursday night Feb. 16, shortly before midnight when the union would have been in a legal strike position.

The University and IATSE, Local 461 arrived at the deal with the help of a provincially-appointed mediator. Details will not be releaseduntil the deal has been ratified by the parties.

The staff work in Brock’s Centre for the Arts and the School of Fine and Performing Arts.
