The spirit of Valentine’s Day in the air at Brock today, and several student groups are using the occasion to raise money for their causes.
The Child and Youth Studies Society is among the student groups with Valentine’s displays in the Mackenzie Chown A hallway. The display is to inform people about this month’s fundraising effort, which is Youth Pride Niagara, said Carly Eastwood, a third-year Concurrent Education student.
Each month, the society supports a local charity. Last month, its members collected clothing for Gillian’s Place.
