The Hamilton branch of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) has given out its first student award at Brock.
The organization has granted student David Juszczyk with $500 for getting the top mark in Professor Michael J. Armstrong’s Quality Management course, OPER 3P93. The course teaches students how to maintain and improve the quality of products or processes.
The award will be annual. ASQ Hamilton represents about 400 members in the Hamilton and Niagara regions. The society has more than 80,000 members worldwide.
“We feel this is an important part of what we do, not only giving back to our communities, but also investing in our future leaders.”
