City staff will ask students about culture in St. Catharines

The City of St. Catharines will be doing “man on the street” interviews at Brock next week to ask about the city’s culture.

City staff and consultants will ask students a number of questions, including:

  • What arts activities do you or your family participate in in St. Catharines?
  • What aspect of St. Catharines history do you think would make a great museum exhibit?
  • What would you like to see as the first performance at the new performing arts centre?

The interviews will take place on Monday in the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre.

The interviews are part of a project that started in November to develop a new culture plan. Residents will express their ideas and local artists will create visual impressions on the city’s culture.
