Student Life and Community Experience needs bowlers for the upcoming Brock Bowls for Kids fundraiser.

The annual Brock event benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Catharines and Thorold. Each year, the organization must raise more than 80 per cent of its operating budget to continue its mentoring programs.

This year’s Brock Bowls for Kids goal is $15,000. Last year, it raised more than $7,000.

The event will be Feb. 1 and 2 at Parkway Lanes in St. Catharines at 9:30 p.m. Sign up as an individual or join as a team of four or five. Once registered, participants can collect pledges online or in person. Space is limited to 40 teams.
