As of next week, traffic coming to and from Brock via Merritville Highway will be forced to take a detour for two weeks.

Starting Monday, Nov. 28, the Merrittville Highway bridge across Lake Gibson — just south of Decew Road — will be closed for repairs. The work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Dec. 9.

Traffic will be re-routed and along Regional Road 67 (Beaverdams Road) and Decew Road.

Members of the Brock community are urged to plan ahead and allow extra time for getting to and from the University.
