Brock’s senior administration met with provincial student union officials this week to discuss tuition, student loans and other issues of interest to undergraduate students.

Three representatives from the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) were at Brock on Oct. 18. They met with the Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) and Murray Knuttila, Provost and Vice-President Academic. They also met with several Brock undergraduate students to find out their goals and concerns this year.

The Brock stop was part of a tour of OUSA’s nine member universities by president Sean Madden, executive director Sam Andrey and Alvin Tedjo, director of communications.

“Each fall, we go to each of our member campuses and schedule meetings with presidents and provosts,” Tedjo said. “Our goal is to discuss what we’re working on, what our priorities are and what’s coming in the future.”

OUSA distributed flyers about student financial assistance. It will also distribute an undergraduate survey via email on Nov. 8.
