Eleven Brock students presented at the binational Crossing Borders student conference this month.
It was a record showing from Brock at the March 10 and 11 conference, which was held in conjunction with the Binational Dialogues, the Binational Tourism Association 2011 Summit in Niagara Falls, Ont. Students from Wilfrid Laurier, the University of Buffalo and several other New York universities presented.
The Brock students who presented were from Canadian Studies, Political Science and History. Marian Bredin, director of Brock’s Centre for Canadian Studies and associate professor in the Department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film, moderated a session called “Comparative Perspectives on Arts, Culture and Tourism.”
