Spring Brock Alumni events

Spring is finally here, and what better way to rid those winter blues by getting out of the house to mingle and socialize?  There are several Brock Alumni Network events planned this April and May in Burlington, Toronto and Ottawa. Open to all Brock graduates and their guests.

Burlington Brock Alumni Network Etiquette Dinner

Join Terry Cockerline (BA ’97), a trained facilitator in business dining etiquette for a fun and informative evening at Burlington’s beautiful Paletta Mansion. You’ll learn the ins and outs of business dining, such as how to professionally host a meal, how to be a good guest and how to make the right impression every time.

Tickets are $20 (a $65 value) and include a three-course meal, etiquette instruction and an invaluable networking opportunity with fellow Brock grads in the Burlington area.

Toronto Brock Alumni Network Pub Night
The Labatt Pub, 207 Queen’s Quay, Toronto
6 to 9 p.m.

With more than 12,000 Brock grads living in the Greater Toronto area, the Toronto Brock Alumni Network is Brock University’s largest alumni network.

On Thursday, May 5, the Toronto Brock Alumni Network Committee is hosting a pub night at one of Toronto’s most secretive watering holes, The Labatt Pub. 

Enjoy comfortable seating overlooking the Toronto harbour front, hors d’oeuvres, prizes, and a full bar featuring a host of Labatt products.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $25 week of the event and at the door, or buy five tickets for $50.

Kenneth Kernaghan, professor emeritus at Brock University and Ontario member of the Order of Canada, will speak on the topic of “Public Servants: bashable bureaucrats or citizen servers?” Tickets are $15 per person.
