International students were celebrated in St. Catharines this month at a reception hosted by Mayor Brian McMullan.
McMullan was heralding the cultural and financial impact of international students in St. Catharines. The reception was held on March 7 at city hall and attended by students graduating from Brock.
Murray Knuttila, Provost and Vice-President Academic, spoke on behalf of the University. Daniel Antwi-Amoabang, Graduate Students’ Association president and an international student from Ghana, spoke on behalf of the students.
A group of Ghanaian students who danced and drummed. David Nan Yun, an MBA student from China, also performed.
