Applied Linguistics guest will discuss cochlear implants

The Brock community is invited to attend an upcoming Department of Applied Linguistic Speaker Series event.

Kristi Buckley from the University of Buffalo’s Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences will present from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25. Her talk is titled “Influence of cross-modal plasticity on speech perception ability in cochlear implant users.”

Buckley’s research interests include cochlear implants, cortical plasticity related to hearing impairment, and pediatric audiology.
