Brock graduate students are invited to participate in the annual Mapping the New Knowledges Conference.
The full-day research conference will be held at Brock on Thursday, April 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will feature graduate student oral and poster presentations as well as a series of professional development workshops arranged by Brock’s Graduate Students’ Association.
The call for proposals is open until March 7 and submissions can be made online by visiting brocku.ca/graduate-studies/conferences-events/callforproposals
Participation in the conference is open to graduate students at all stages of their research work. Graduate students are encouraged to submit a 250-word abstract outlining the focus of his or her proposed oral or poster research presentation. The oral research presentation session will feature 20-minute student oral presentations arranged in panels in a conference-day format. The poster session will be held during the conference day and poster presenters will be asked to be available to discuss his or her research projects with audience members.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to present their research to fellow students and faculty and also to develop their conference presentation skills.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Research Services and the Graduate Students’ Association.
