Service learning expert visits Brock

Those interested in Service Learning are invited to a session this week with one of the foremost experts on service and learning.

Patti Clayton, a senior scholar with the Center for Service and Learning at Indiana University — Purdue University will give the session Critical Reflection for Learning on Wednesday, Jan. 26. Clayton consults more than 50 schools and higher education organizations, as well as being a visiting fellow with the New England Resource Center for Higher Education.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in TH 253. The morning session, running from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, will be “An Introduction to Critical Reflection.” The afternoon session, running from 1 to 4 p.m., will be “Integrating Critical Reflection with Assessment.”
