TORONTO, Ont. – The Brock University women’s rugby team opened the 2010 preseason with a 1-1-1 record at the York University Tournament Sunday. The Badgers rolled past the Laurier Golden Hawks in their opening game by the score of 45-0. In their second game they tied the host York Lions 12-12 and in their final contest of the day dropped a 19-5 decision to the McMaster Marauders.
