Mark Julien, associate professor of Business, is quoted in the July 27 article “Seeing staff scolded angers public: study” in the Edmonton Journal. The article also appeared in The Montreal Gazette. In the article, Julien says that managers mistakenly assume that a public display of zero tolerance endears them to the customer.
