Construction starts in Jubilee Court

Crews will start excavation in Jubilee Court on Wednesday, June 2 for sewer repair work, a job related to the Niagara Health and Biosciences Research Complex construction project.

The sewer work will temporarily disrupt foot traffic in Jubilee Court. There will be fencing and a gate in place around the usual footpath. When the gate is in use, a flag person will direct pedestrian and truck traffic. Pedestrians will at times be intermittently delayed by about five minutes.

The current Jubilee Court fencing will be removed on June 10, and a smaller area will be fenced in starting June 11 for a second phase of the sewer work.

There will be signage inside and outside the Decew and Vallee residences to advise people of the delay.

And there will be considerable noise during some stages of the Jubilee Court construction.
