Built in 1988 and designed by architect William Woodruff and Elmes, this building primarily houses offices and classrooms. It was renovated in 2005.
Built in 2003, the East Academic wing is home to the Department of Nursing, as well as numerous classrooms. It was designed by William Haas Consultants Inc.
Formerly known as Captain John Decew, this building was constructed in 1968 with an addition built onto it in 1999. It houses laboratories and the Tecumseh Centre for Aboriginal Research and Education.
The Walker Complex is the hub of Brock’s athletics and recreation activity. It contains the Ian D. Beddis and Bob Davis gymnasiums, an indoor track, The Zone fitness centre, the Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre, the Leo LeBlanc Rowing Centre and a food court. Named after a family of local philanthropists, the Walker Complex was built in 1973. Its most recent addition was in 2002.
South Block — sometimes known as Academic South — has numerous lecture halls on its lower level, and on its upper floors, offices for Sociology, Community Health Sciences, Recreation & Leisure Studies and Child and Youth Studies. There is also a Tim Hortons and the store General Brock.
Scotiabank Hall connects Thistle Hall, Robert S. K. Welch Hall, Academic South and the Walker Complex. Scotibank Hall houses a modern computer commons, sometimes known as “the fishbowl” for its glass walls, and various offices. Located on the third floor is the department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film.
Located at the bottom of a steep roadway heading down the escarpment, the Central Utilities Building is used by Facilities Management. It holds maintenance shops, a plant and some offices.
Kenmore Centre is home to Campus Security, whose constables patrol Brock’s campus.
Harrison Hall is home to the Student Health Services medical clinic and Brock’s athletic therapy clinic.
The Student-Alumni Centre, built in 1990 and designed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects, is home to Isaac’s, as well as numerous places to eat. It’s also home to the Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU).
