Walker Complex

The Walker Complex is the hub of Brock’s athletics and recreation activity. It contains the Ian D. Beddis and Bob Davis gymnasiums, where convocation and many exams are held. An indoor track overlooks the gym. It also contains The Zone, Brock’s fitness centre.

The Bob Davis gym on the lower level is home to many Badgers basketball games. The Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre hosts community swimming and Brock’s rowers train at the Leo LeBlanc Rowing Centre.

There is also a food court with a Mr. Sub and pizza and stir-fry outlets. Named after a family of local philanthropists, the Walker Complex was built in 1973. Its most recent addition was in 2002 with others in 1908 and 1995. The Walker Complex was desinged by Moffit, Moffit & Kinoshita, Macdonald & Zuberec Architects Inc., and Moriyama & Teshima Architects.

Fast fact: Membership to the Walker Complex is open to students, alumni, faculty and staff, and community members.
