As the Aboriginal Events Coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating all events in support of the Aboriginal Recruitment and Student Support units. While the unit functions as a team and supports multiple accountabilities, the primary focus of my role is engaging learners in holistic Aboriginal cultural events, workshops and activities. I welcome the opportunity to construct and foster healthy relationships with the student body as well as the community.

My role as the Aboriginal Support Assistant / Student Advisor means that I assist Aboriginal students with class registration, academic planning, tutoring, band funding, or any other aspect of navigating post-secondary. I understand – through experience – that the struggle of attending university goes beyond the classroom. Your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing are my top priorities. My process is to collaborate with you to find solutions or provide guidance that assists you in completing your journey through post-secondary studies.
