Wine and food seminars in the park

Montebello Park, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) at Brock University is partnering with Niagara College to host wine and food pairings in the park at its new Culinary Theatre. Meet some of the winemakers of your favourite Niagara wines, many of whom are Brock graduates. New to 2012 at the Culinary Theatre will be a food demonstration with a pairing of one of the two wines presented at each seminar.

At 1pm, 3pm and 5 pm best selling food and wine author and industry personality Dr. Linda Bramble will host celebrated Niagara winemakers and chefs as they present culinary and wine pairings while sharing their stories and philosophies.  A number of the winemakers being showcased are also Brock Alumni

Brock grads will receive a free wineglass at the Educate Your Senses wine and food seminar. Cost is two tokens (with a glass) or three tokens (without a glass). Limited seating. Pre-booking is possible on line at niagarawinefestival.com or upon arrival at Montebello Park.
