Elder-in-Residence
An Elder-In-Residence is a keeper of knowledge and a sharer of knowledge. Our Elder In-Residence, Carol Jacobs, is a member of the Cayuga Nation. She serves as a source of wisdom, understanding, and guidance to Aboriginal students. Her primary role is both simple and complex: she listens to the students and offers them the opportunity to listen to her. Additionally, Carol offers guidance to the wider Brock community in terms of cultural awareness.
