Paid Training for active Part-Time Instructors, TAs, Course Coordinators, Marker-Graders, and Lab Demonstrators (CUPE 4207-1 Members)

This 5-hour professional development session will consist of four 75 minute workshops. Participants will explore their roles and responsibilities within the University and will address the ways in which student learning can be facilitated or interrupted with a focus on culturally relevant pedagogy, accessibility, and ethical dilemmas. These active learning workshops are designed for individuals with varying degrees of teaching experience.

All Part-Time Instructors, TAs, Course Coordinators, Marker-Graders, and Lab Demonstrators who are on an active contract on the training date or who will be on an active contract within four weeks after the training date are eligible for up to 5 hours of paid training for their attendance at one of these professional development sessions.
