Cyber Security Awareness – Encryption

Encryption may seem like a task only taken on by computer whizzes in the movies. In reality, encryption is pretty simple and can be an important part of keeping data safe. An upcoming 30-minute workshop will teach faculty and staff how to make their data unreadable and protect it from unauthorized users like cybercriminals. Information in the wrong hands can lead to devastating consequences for both the University and its employees. To help keep data safe, Brock’s Information Technology Services is offering an encryption workshop.
