Race to the North Pole Challenge
2nd Annual

Want to ramp up your physical activity prior to indulging in the treats associated with the Holiday season? Join us for our second annual trek to the North Pole and back! Participants accumulate kilometers by walking, biking or running for the purpose of physical activity, i.e. treadmill, elliptical, track, or use of a Fitbit or pedometer, etc. Record the distance travelled from November 29 through to December 20, 2017 on the tracking sheet provided and return to Health Management at the end of the challenge. As a team, we will see if we can make it to the North Pole and back before the holiday season, which is approximately 10,442 kilometers (5221 km each way). Prior to the launch of the challenge, those registered will receive an email with an attachment to the Race to the North Pole tracking sheet. Health Management will draw a prize for a campus store gift card for all participants at the end of the challenge. Please note, as with any exercise, please consult your Physician prior to starting any new exercise program.
