On their flight back to Japan, Kenji takes out the information pamphlet he picked up at the Tourism Vancouver office and looks intensely at a picture of the Olympic Rings. You know what he’s thinking…“Let’s see what mathematics is involved here.” Meanwhile, Yumi is scrimmaging through her handbag looking for something and finds a brochure on ski jumping, which she had forgotten all about. She flips through it and encounters some challenge questions about ski jumping. Since Kenji is busy scribbling away, Yumi decides to attempt to solve the challenge questions on her own. After all, it is a long flight back home. |
