2) Calculate the maximum and mean of the magnitudes.
3) Discuss the connection between the magnitude of an earthquake and the deaths it causes.

5) Using the information from part 3, can you estimate what the death-toll might be if a magnitude 8.4 earthquake were to strike the Vancouver area?
