The Honours BSc in Medical Sciences prepares students for careers in health professions with a human life sciences perspective. This degree provides the foundation for postgraduate programs in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy and the allied health professions. Prepares students for careers in health as well as medical research and education.

Students planning to pursue post-graduate education in health or medical fields may consider taking credits in the following areas: Biochemistry, Calculus, English Language and Literature, Organic Chemistry, Philosophy, and Physics.
