advise students regarding application to co-op programs, co-op specific academic program requirements, employment opportunities, job placements and job searches;
| · | recruit employers for co-op and internship placements; |
| · | maintain computerized on-line job banks for co-op and internship postings; |
| · | facilitate the co-op employment process from initial job postings, interview periods, to employment offers and hires; |
| · | prepare students for successful work term experiences by developing and facilitating pre-employment workshops; |
| · | connect students and employers through co-op postings and on-campus interviews; |
| · | monitor and support employer/student relationship with regards to job quality and student contribution through site visitation and performance evaluation; |
| · | support student recruitment initiatives and activities to co-op and internship programs and evaluate student applications for admission decisions; |
| · | provide employment information to the Registrar's Office for inclusion on students' academic transcripts. |
| 1. | complete 0N90-Pre-employment workshop series; |
| 2. | satisfactory completion of a minimum of the three co-op work terms; |
| 3. | develop and submit learning objectives for each work term; |
| 4. | obtain satisfactory employer evaluations for each work term; |
| 5. | submit corresponding Co-op Work term reports to satisfy the requirements for the Integration and Reflective Learning Course. |
