Undergraduate Sessional Dates
An academic timetable (Registration Guide) giving the times and locations of all courses offered in any one Session (Fall/Winter, Spring or Summer) is available on the Registrar's Website at: http://www.BrockU.CA/registrar/birtguides/index.html prior to the beginning of the session.
NOTE: All dates refer to undergraduate studies unless otherwise specified.
SPRING 2007
Monday, May 7
First day of classes for duration 1 and duration 2 courses. Please consult the Spring and Summer Registration Guide for further details.
Sunday, May 13
Last day for duration 1 and duration 2 late registration and course changes without permission of the instructor. Brock Registration System closes for duration 1 and duration 2 adds; last day to drop courses without financial penalty. After this date, manual course change requests are required.
Monday, May 21
Victoria Day. University closed (no classes); library open.
Friday, May 25
Make-up day for Victoria Day duration 1 and duration 2 classes. The schedule will be that of a Monday.
Friday, June 1
Last day for withdrawal without academic penalty and last day to change from credit to audit status for duration 2 courses.
Friday, June 8
Last day of lectures for duration 2 courses.
Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9
Progress examinations for duration 1 courses and final examinations for duration 2 courses.
Monday, June 11
First day of classes for duration 3 courses.
Tuesday, June 12 to Saturday, June 16
Spring Convocation.
Sunday, June 17
Last day for duration 3 late registration and course changes without permission of the instructor. Brock Registration System closes for duration 3 adds; last day to drop courses without financial penalty. After this date, manual course change requests are required.
Friday, June 22
Make-up day for Monday, July 2 duration 1 and duration 3 classes. The schedule will be that of a Monday.

Last date for receipt of applications to graduate at Fall Convocation (extended to 4:30 pm next working day).

Canada Day closure. University closed; library open. No classes held Monday, July 2 (see June 22).
Friday, July 13
Last day of lectures for duration 1 and duration 3 courses.

First day of Fall/Winter Session, duration 1 and duration 2, day and evening sections, Undergraduate program.
Friday, September 21

Last day of lectures, Fall Term, duration 2 courses. Make up day for Thanksgiving Day classes. The schedule will be that of a Monday.
Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1
Snow day/reading days. A snow day will be used to cover classes missed because of adverse weather (if needed). Otherwise, it will be a reading day. The day of the week missed will determine the replacement schedule for classes.
Monday, December 3 to Saturday, December 15
Progress examinations for duration 1 courses and final examinations for duration 2 courses.
Monday, December 17
First day of Winter Term, Pre-service Education Program.
Sunday, December 16, 2007 noon until noon Sunday, January 6, 2008
Residences are closed.
Friday, December 21 at 4:30 pm until regular opening on January 2, 2008 at 8:30 am
Christmas and New Year holiday. University closed; library closed.
