Brock will be admitting the first class of students in the MBA program for September, 2003. The MBA is a new two year professional graduate program which will be offered to both full-time and part-time students.
Objectives of the Program
The MBA program is a program in advanced professional business management education. It is designed to prepare students for management in knowledge- and information based technology work environments. The program will allow students the opportunity to develop strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills, while emphasizing business ethics and social responsibility. In addition, the program is designed to permit students to develop specialized knowledge in select fields of study, including advanced education related to professional designations where appropriate. A co-op/internship option is designed to benefit students with limited related work experience.
Areas of Study
The specialized areas of the MBA program may include Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management and Marketing depending on student demand. These areas of study are designed to incorporate the knowledge base related to professional designation programs. Students may pursue an approved multi-disciplinary program drawn from the specialized courses after consultation with the Program Director.
Admission Requirements

minimum B average (75%) in a 4-year undergraduate degree acceptable to Brock University
·
a personal interview may be required
Students may apply for the program from any discipline.
Students may be admitted without previous work experience and obtain experience through a co-op/internship option.
